Our Programs
Kanooka offers engaging and high-quality early learning programs for children from six months to Kindergarten.
The Early Years Learning Framework and the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework inform our daily practices and approach to learning. Through them we support the children in the three following key areas:
- "Belonging" to the environment
- "Being" in the moment
- "Becoming" myself
Children are enrolled in the room that is best suited for their age and development, ensuring they receive the most suitable education and care for their needs.
Great attention is also placed on the Orientation Process, during which children spend progressively more time in the allocated room, familiarising themselves with their educators, peers, routine and environment. Families are actively involved in this process so that the transition into care is as smooth as possible.
